Accounts Payable Supervisor
The World Equestrian Center located in Ocala, Florida is searching for an Accounts Payable Supervisor to join our team!
The Accounts Payable Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the accounts payable department. This includes supervising staff, managing processes, and ensuring accuracy and timeliness of payments. The successful candidate ensures that the department meets all financial deadlines and provides excellent customer service.
Primary Responsibilities: .
- Review and verify invoices for accuracy, coding, pricing, etc.
- Prepares and process payments and electronic transfers.
- Analyze and resolve all outstanding balances on all accounts payable.
- Respond to internal and external requests for information.
- Complete all credit applications in a timely manner.
- Evaluate processes for efficiency, recommend system enhancements, and document and improve procedures.
- Supervise staff, plan tasks, review work, evaluate performance and provide coaching.
- Assist in the Month End closing process.
- Have complete knowledge of all policies, standards, and procedures of the department.
- Be familiar with all aspects of the property, including hotel, retail outlets, food outlets, etc.
- Maintain cleanliness of work area.
- Adherence to all safety rules and regulations.
- Monitor aging and ensure all invoices are processed in a timely manner.
- General daily accounting tasks.
- Compliance with all resort policies and procedures and described and communicated by management.

Qualifications, Education, Experience, Skills, and Abilities:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous office experience required.
- Previous accounts payable experience required.
- Previous hotel experience preferred.
