Senior Talent Acquisition Manager

The World Equestrian Center (WEC) is seeking an experienced Senior Talent Acquisition Manager to join our Human Resources team. This position plays a critical role in sourcing, attracting, and hiring top-tier talent to support WEC’s commitment to delivering luxury-level service across its hospitality operations. The Senior Talent Acquisition Manager will oversee the entire talent management lifecycle, ensuring a seamless and high-quality recruitment process for both hourly and management positions.

This role requires a strategic thinker with a background in executive search recruitment, proven success in talent acquisition within the hospitality industry, and a passion for delivering exceptional candidate and hiring manager experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition & Recruitment

  • Develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies to attract qualified candidates for hourly, management, and executive-level positions.
  • Craft compelling job postings and advertisements that align with WEC’s luxury service standards and company culture.
  • Proactively source candidates using multiple platforms, including job boards, social media, networking events, and professional associations.
  • Conduct pre-screening interviews, assess candidate qualifications, and coordinate interview schedules with hiring managers.
  • Partner with department heads to understand staffing needs, develop job descriptions, and implement tailored recruitment plans.

Candidate Experience

  • Provide exceptional communication and support to candidates throughout the recruitment process, ensuring a positive and engaging experience.
  • Maintain regular follow-ups with candidates and hiring managers to ensure timely progress and alignment.
  • Coordinate background checks, reference checks, and other pre-employment requirements.

Offer Management

  • Prepare and present competitive employment offers, ensuring alignment with budget, market trends, and internal equity.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Human Resources to negotiate and finalize offer details.

Employer Branding & Relationship Building

  • Promote Columbus Hospitality Management as an employer of choice by showcasing the organization’s core values, luxury service standards, and growth opportunities at World Equestrian Center, Ocala, FL.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with universities, professional associations, and community organizations to establish a robust talent pipeline.
  • Represent WEC at career fairs, networking events, and recruitment expos.

Metrics & Compliance

  • Monitor and report recruitment metrics, including time-to-fill, quality of hire, and candidate satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of recruitment best practices, market trends, and emerging talent acquisition technologies.

Qualifications, Education, Experience, Skills, and Abilities:

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in talent acquisition, with at least 2 years focused on executive-level recruitment.
  • Prior experience in the hospitality industry, particularly in luxury-level service environments, is strongly preferred.

Skills & Abilities

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across diverse teams.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS), HRIS, and other recruitment technologies.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and best practices in talent acquisition.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic recruitment initiatives.

Travel

Local and regional travel is required resulting in overnight trips. This position requires the successful candidate to have a valid Driver’s license. The successful candidate would have to provide proof that s/he has a valid driver’s license upon being hired.
