
Safety and Security Assistant Manager
Job Summary:
The Safety and Security Assistant Manager. At the World Equestrian Center, quality, class, and distinction are at the heart of everything we do. The Safety and Security Assistant Manager will perform the following to the highest Standard.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist in emergency response and safety hazard management.
- Support safety training programs (CPR, fire safety, workplace violence, etc.).
- Coordinate with HR on workers’ comp and safety initiatives.
- Liaise with law enforcement and emergency services.
- Maintain accurate safety reports and documentation.
- Conduct fire drills and emergency preparedness exercises.
- Oversee property patrols and safety inspections.
- Participate in ongoing safety training (e.g., active shooter, human trafficking).
- Ensure compliance with training requirements and maintain records.
- Help investigate incidents like accidents, theft, or property loss.
- Respond to guest concerns professionally and efficiently.
- Support team supervision, scheduling, and performance reviews.
- Track safety equipment compliance and resolve violations.
- Coordinate with vendors and insurance reps for safety services

Physical Requirements:
- Associate must be able to sit in the same position for up to 8 hours a day consecutively.
- Associate may have to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or bend.
- Associate is often required to sit and use his or her hands and fingers, to handle or feel.
- Vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
- Associate must talk and hear.
Qualifications, Education, Experience, Skills, and Abilities:
- Must have 2+ years of experience in Loss Prevention/Security Management role.
- Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent.
- Experience in Loss Prevention in an upscale establishment preferred.
- Previous experience in hospitality preferred.
- Proven professionalism with guests and associates required.
- Experience with and familiarity with OSHA standards required.
- Previous experience with training and maintenance of safety standards.
- Must have knowledge and experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
