Facilities - Lead
The Facilities Lead oversees the maintenance, safety, and operational integrity of all physical assets across Equestrian Manor, including its restaurants, event spaces, guest areas, and back-of-house facilities. This role ensures that all buildings, systems, and grounds are maintained to the highest standards of luxury, safety, and efficiency, supporting seamless guest experiences and operational excellence.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate maintenance activities across all and shared spaces.
- Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and structural systems. Respond promptly to urgent repair needs.
- Liaise with external service providers, ensuring quality work, timely delivery, and adherence to safety and brand standards.
- Supervise and mentor facilities technicians and custodial staff. Assign tasks, monitor performance, and foster a culture of accountability and excellence.
- Ensure all facilities meet local, state, and federal safety codes. Maintain documentation for inspections, permits, and compliance audits.
- Track usage and inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment. Assist in budget planning and cost control initiatives.
- Lead emergency response protocols for facility-related incidents. Maintain readiness for power outages, water leaks, and other disruptions.
- Work closely with culinary, housekeeping, and front-of-house teams to support operational needs and minimize downtime.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as climbing ladders, operating tools, and working in confined spaces.
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Availability for on-call emergencies and occasional weekend or evening shifts.

Qualifications, Education, Experience, Skills and Abilities
- High school diploma or GED required, technical certification or associate degree in facilities management, engineering, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in facilities or maintenance roles, with at least 2 years in a leadership capacity. Hospitality or luxury property experience is strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.)
- Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Proficient in maintenance software and work order systems
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to lead and motivate a team
