Pool Maintenance Technician

Ocala, FL

The World Equestrian Center located in Ocala, Florida is searching for a Pool Maintenance Technician to join our team!

The Pool Maintenance Technician is primarily responsible for performing pool maintenance and repair at the World Equestrian Center. 

 Primary Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot any maintenance problems and repair.
  • Clean and maintain pool and accompanying spas and facilities by skimming, vacuuming, and performing chemical treatments.
  • Regularly test pool water for pH; chlorine; presence of bacteria, algae, or contaminants; and other data.
  • Maintain pool & Spa equipment, filter/filter housings, and follow maintenance calendar.
  • Ensure correct color, chemistry, and clarity of pool water.
  • Calculate and add chemical treatments to maintain pH balance, eliminate contaminants, or correct other problems.
  • Maintain filter/filter housings & Pumps.
  • Complete other tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications, Education, Experience, Skills and Abilities 

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred 
  • Minimum of (1) years’ experience in maintenance or related position 
  • Good knowledge of Pool and Plumbing systems 
  • Excellent guest service and communication skills  
  • Basic computer and math skills necessary 
  • Excellent follow up and attention to detail skills required. 
  • Passion and excitement for the hospitality/service industry 
  • Ability to work in high paced environment. 
  • Strong ability to Multitask.
