Groundskeeper - General Labor

Ocala, FL

The World Equestrian Center -  Ocala is currently seeking a Grounds-General Labor to assist with general landscape maintenance on property.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform basic departmental responsibilities including, but not limited to debris clean up, weeding, mowing, aerating, watering, fertilizing, trimming, and pruning. 
  • Operates equipment such as, but not limited to mowers, blowers, edgers, and string trimmers. Notifies supervisor if equipment malfunctions or necessary equipment maintenance. 
  • Follows safety procedures provided by supervisor. 
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Vision abilities required by this job include close vision. 
  • Associate must be able to speak and hear. 
  • Must be able to perform duties in extreme temperatures. 
  • Must be able to life up to 50 lbs. occasionally. 
  • Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time.

Qualifications, Education, Experience, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Must be willing to learn and follow directions. 
  • Possess a valid driver's license.
