Retail Vendor Relationship Manager

Ocala, FL

The Retail Vendor Relationship Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with short-term and long-term retail vendors and delivers excellence to ensure an optimal experience for our vendors and property guests. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, strong attention to detail and a passion for excellence, representing Columbus Hospitality Management and World Equestrian Center in the highest form.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manages the entire retail vendor experience providing exceptional customer service.
  • Establishes new vendor relationships by promptly responding to incoming inquiries. 
  • Researches and develops pricing; establishes and manages payment schedules. 
  • Executes and manages the contract process, ensuring compliance with company and legal requirements.
  • Defines retail vendor guidelines and ensures they meet company, brand, and customer service standards.
  • Manages the arrival and departure process for all retail vendors.
  • Executes and manages contracts, payment schedules, and contractual terms and conditions with vendors. 
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications, Education, Experience, Skills, and Abilities: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Previous retail vendor management experience.
  • Highly organized.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Excellent guest service skills.
  • Ability to negotiate and enforce contractual terms with vendors.
  • Flexible availability, including weekends.
