
Valet Parking Manager
The Valet Parking Manager is the department head responsible for leading all valet parking operations across the World Equestrian Center property. This includes The Equestrian Hotel, The Equestrian Manor, and elevated event-based valet services throughout the grounds. The ideal candidate is a dynamic and organized leader who thrives in high-volume luxury environments and is passionate about delivering seamless, safe, and exceptional guest arrivals and departures.
This role oversees the valet department while working closely with Security, Traffic Safety, Hotels, Events, and other applicable department teams to ensure efficient traffic flow, proper vehicle handling, revenue capture, key inventory, and luxury-level hospitality service.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversee all valet operations, including staffing, scheduling, training, and daily performance at all designated arrival points, parking lots, and event sites.
- Establish and uphold valet SOPs across multiple locations to ensure consistency, safety, and luxury standards.
- Supervise vehicle flow across roadways, pedestrian crosswalks, and garage ramps to ensure safety and efficiency. Coordinate with the Traffic Safety department and add directional signage or cones as appropriate during peak times.
- Manage all valet ticketing systems, key control, and damage documentation processes.
- Manage department supplies, purchasing, and inventory.
- Partner with property leadership to plan staffing and logistics valet parking needs.
- Maintain accountability for departmental budgets, valet revenue, labor forecasting, and tip pooling systems.
- Respond promptly to guest concerns or vehicle incidents with discretion and professionalism.
- Ensure ADA, VIP, and high-profile guest needs are prioritized and handled with utmost care.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and branded valet presence at all operating stations.
- Continually evaluate operations to improve efficiency, reduce risks, and enhance the guest experience.
- This role also requires the ability to safely operate a variety of luxury and high-performance vehicles.

Physical Requirements:
- Associates may be required to stand, walk, run short distances, reach with arms and hands, stoop, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Qualifications, Education, Experience, Skills, and Abilities:
- 2+ years of supervisory or management experience, preferably in a hospitality setting.
- 2+ years of valet or hospitality transportation experience, preferably in a luxury resort.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills; ability to stay calm and decisive under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Technological proficiency (valet software, Microsoft suite, mobile apps).
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays as appropriate with business volumes.
- Professional appearance and demeanor always required.
