Lead Barista
The World Equestrian Center located in Ocala, FL is currently seeking a Lead Barista to join our team.
Ideal candidates must have excellent customer service skills, full knowledge of coffee making, experience in food and banquet services and a desire to provide a great experience for our guests.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist all customers with purchases and other requests.
- Assist the supervisor/manager on duty with Opening/Closing duties.
- Assist with weekly/monthly inventory.
- Ensure proper pars levels in all areas of the outlet.
- Provide visible leadership to employees while generating a store atmosphere focused on great hospitality where the expectations of the customers are exceeded.
- Lead the team in achieving shift targets according to company standards including safety, food quality, beverage quality, sanitation, cleanliness, and customer service.
- Lead by example and with a positive attitude.
- Understand and adhere to guidelines on restricted sales items.
- Implement and follow all cash handling procedures.
- Train new hires on items such as but not limited to: beverage making, menu knowledge, procedures, and company’s standards.
- Able to run Micros POS, process orders, payment, refunds, etc.
- Stay current on all shows, promotions, and future events within the Center and local area.
- Label, stock, and inventory
- Maintain an awareness of inventory/stock.
- Maintain store cleanliness and appearance.
- Provide excellent customer service.

Requirements:
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions
- Experience addressing guests concerns and questions promptly and professionally
- Exhibit strong customer service skills, organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Previous experience with cash handling procedures.
- Position requires walking/standing for extended periods of time.
