FOH Fine Dining Supervisor - Stirrups

OCALA, FL

The World Equestrian Center - Ocala is looking for FOH Fine Dining Supervisor.  

Effectively manage Stirrups restaurant and ensure that guests are promptly and courteously served, in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures. The Fine Dining Supervisor is responsible for training of staff, assisting the leadership team, inventory, and always promoting a positive image of the property.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure cash procedures are adhered to and strictly monitored, including preparation and calculation of
  • beverage bills within all departments, and cashing up of tills.
  • Responsibility for stock control, including ordering, acceptance, maintenance of stock levels and stock
  • rotation, and return of any sub-standard items.
  • Ensure all company/local/state and federal policies are adhered to.
  • Report regularly to Stirrups General Manager and Stirrups Leadership regarding departmental
  • performance, while ensuring all are well-informed of any relevant information and/or issues.
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with internal and external guests.
  • Ensure all guests receive impeccable service and have a memorable dining experience.
  • Monitor dining room ambiance, food quality/presentation, and overall guest satisfaction.
  • Perform a duty manager role while on shift when required.
  • Manage labor costs and assist/support in scheduling when necessary.
  • Supervise restaurant staff, including servers, server assistants, food runners, hosts, and bartenders.
  • Enforce performance standards and participate in regular evaluations to ensure exceptional service
  • delivery.
  • Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance staff skills and knowledge.
  • Assist with service in other areas of the hotel and property as requested.

Qualifications, Education, Experience, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Must be able to understand, read and write English.
  • Ability to create strong working relationships with guests and service team to drive a positive culture
  • Minimum of 3 years of F&B experience
  • Preferred 2 years in a luxury hotel operation
  • Preferred 2 years in fine dining/luxury dining experience
  • Must be ServSafe certified.
  • Must be Alcohol Compliance certified.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
  • Strong beverage knowledge and service experience preferred
